Carla von Lahnstein story and translations

We will upload the whole Carla von Lahnstein story, but please be aware that creating quality clips and quality translations in multiple languages takes time. We publish a new episode every Tuesday. Thank you for your patience.

Statement re GZSZ Anni and Jasmin storyline

We've been receiving several requests lately to do the Anni and Jasmin story from GZSZ. We would probably have been interested in translating this storyline eventually, if it weren't for the fact that it is an RTL product. RTL is extremely strict with their copyright claims, as we have learned from hard experience already (Frapa and Nadja & Jule). On top of the fact that we don't want to waste our time and energy fighting the inevitable deletion of our clips, we've seen in the past that it is impossible for us to keep up with a daily broadcast AND produce quality translations.

Those are the reasons we have decided not to do Anni and Jasmin for the foreseeable future. If something changes on the copyright front, we will re-evaluate the situation. But in any case, we're quite sure it won't be while the story is still being broadcast on TV. In the meantime, we'll be busy with Carla von Lahnstein and some Lezsoapia XL projects we have planned.

Thanks for your understanding and we hope you will keep enjoying our other stories!

A long awaited storyline...

After finishing up 2013 with two Lezsoapia XL projects (Die Konkurrentin and Tatort - Im Netz der Lügen), we're taking up a longer storyline again in 2014: the oft-requested Carla von Lahnstein story from the German soap opera Verbotene Liebe (Forbidden Love). Today we're launching the first clip in that series, in cooperation with Mittag, Novemberstern and the Claudia Hiersche Forum. Novemberstern has generously provided the original source material, and Mittag is editing and uploading the episodes for us.The clips will be published on our new CarlaEpisodes Dailymotion Channel each Tuesday with as many languages as we can find translators for.
So if you or someone you know is willing and able to help out, please let us know!

We decided to put the clips on Dailymotion, because after running extensive testing on YouTube,
we determined that too many of them were subject to audio-silencing due to music copyright claims. And we just didn't figure that would make a very pleasant viewing experience for you. If the ads that DM features hinder you from seeing the subtitles properly, simply install an ad blocker extension in your browser. Or, you can also always download the clips and the SRT files and watch them on your own computer. You can find instructions for how to do that here.

Please keep in mind that the storyline aired a decade ago, so many of the clips are not in HD. However, the quality of them continues to improve as the story progresses.

And now - enjoy!

Lezsoapia XL

Today is International Mother Language Day, and we thought this would be a good occasion to introduce a new project of ours, namely Lezsoapia XL (XtraLong, XtraLarge & Xcellent! :) ). With Lezsoapia XL, we want to cover stories we find worth translating that weren't part of a daily or weekly television series, but a one-shot deal so to say. This could be movies, or also single episodes from TV shows that feature lesbian themes.

Our first XL project is an episode from Mord mit Aussicht (Murder with a View), which is a German satirical crime series. The name of the episode was 'Walzing Mathilde' and you can check out our translation of it here http://lezsoapia.blogspot.it/2013/02/mord-mit-aussicht-walzing-mathilde.html

Happy International Mother Language Day, everyone!
